The Facts about Quick Weight Loss Diets

Ever since modern time began people have been looking for quick ways to lose weight. Despite their efforts there has not been any proven method for quick weight lose which will keep it off.

Despite there being no marvellous fast weight loss program, there are a few things you can do to fastness things up. Here’s how:

Are you eating too many calories? The problem might be that you’re eating too few. On and off again dieting over many year can actually slow your metabolism rate by 30%. You can get it back on track by eating enough calories to fuel your basal metabolic rate (BMR).

You can find detailed BMR calculators online which can establish how many calories you need each day. If you exercise or have a physically demanding job, you will need more. Your diet should be structured so you get your daily calories from lean meats, nuts, whole grains, fruit and vegetables.

Don’t be put off if you get an initial slight weight gain; your body needs time to repair itself. It may take a few weeks or months but once you have the appropriate number of calories the weight will start to shed away as your metabolism rate speeds up.

You can easily lose a pound a week by sticking to a balanced diet, or two pounds a week if you add exercise.

Don’t Forget the Exercise

Most quick weight loss diets don’t include any form of physical exercise. These types of diets seem only to encourage eating very little in a way to lose weight You may benefit from a short term weight loss but once your diet returns to normal it will come back on. Further, these types of fast weight loss diets don’t offer the same health benefits as combine regular exercise and a balanced diet.

It is well accepted that a combination of strength and cardio training provides the best outcome. If your life is busy and full of stress it can be useful to mix yoga. You should aim to do between three to five hours cardio plus one or two hours strength training per week. This will have a significant effect on your fitness level and body shape.

You will gain many more benefits combining exercise. It will improve your mood, help you sleep soundly, make you stronger and leaner, and improve your balance. There are improved benefits for your heart and a reduced risk of other diseases like type 2 diabetes. These are the added benefits that sudden weight loss can’t offer.

Forget Starvation Diets

We’ve all heard stories of celebrity quick fast diets, but generally they are only slimming down for a new role. So what happens next? Well almost always they just regain the Weight Just a quickly as they lost it.

Don’t put your body through the stress of quick weight loss diets. You will likely find yourself getting grouchy, hungry, dehydrated and heavier than before. But worse you can do major harm to your metabolism, making it harder to lose weight in the future.

To maintain a healthy weight, your body needs to be healthy. Find a diet and weight control plan that best suits your life-style to maintain a healthy body.
